Serves 2

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 7 minutes

Sweet Chili Shrimp is a great appetizer or meal, depending how it's served. These little guys surprise the palate with their initial sweetness, then kick it in to high gear, finishing with a little fire. With the sauce and their cooked to pink perfection, this shrimp will definitely spice up a cocktail party.

Ingredients

  • 24 large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails intact
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 cup Cattle BoyZ Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed or grated
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar

Directions

Melt the butter in a sauce pan and reserve a teaspoon or two to brush your grill. Add the Cattle BoyZ Chili Sauce, garlic and brown sugar to the saucepan and bring to a low simmer.

Brush your grids with the butter that you set aside. Preheat your grill to 400°F.

Toss the shrimp with half of the sweet chili sauce, reserving the other half for basting and finishing.

Grill the shrimp over direct heat for about 3 minutes per side or until the flesh is opaque, with a couple of sear marks.

Baste the shrimp with the remaining sauce while grilling, or toss them in more sauce before serving. Save some sauce for dipping too.
