Rebranding and Reorganizing at Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market

Thursday, April 4, 2019

The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market has announced a reorganization and rebranding of two season-specific merchandise collections – Seasonal / Gift and Outdoor Living – in the lead-up to its summer edition, July 9-15, 2019.

Seasonal / Gift Collection

The newly named Seasonal / Gift collection is a combination of the market’s existing Holiday & Floral / Home Décor permanent showrooms and the Holiday, Floral, Baskets and Halloween temporary exhibits. IMC’s Seasonal / Gift showroom collection in Atlanta is the world’s largest permanent showcase of seasonal and faux botanical merchandise with 120 exhibitors in nearly 500,000 sq. ft. of showroom space. It features a depth and breadth of gift and décor product for retailers and commercial decorators, interior designers, and event planners plus the nation’s largest collection of European holiday and artisan lines. Notable suppliers include Accent Décor, Allstate Floral, K&K Interiors, Kurt S. Adler, Raz Imports, Regency International, Windward International, and many more.

“IMC’s change to the Seasonal / Gift collection will make the product mix clearer for buyers by more accurately reflecting the merchandise showcased on the floors,” explained Dave Savula, International Market Centers (IMC) executive vice president, president of Gift & Apparel Leasing.

The permanent Seasonal / Gift collection, which is located in Building 1, Floors 16-20, is open for all Atlanta home and gift markets with select showrooms also open year-round. It is augmented by the temporary Seasonal / Gift collection presented in January and July in Building 3, Floor 1. The July 2019 staging features more than 60 exhibitors including Christmas Place, Inc., Garden Route, Mills Floral & Home, Ornament Central, Stetson’s Seashells, Winterland Inc., and more.

Outdoor Living Collection

The newly named Outdoor Living collection is a combination of three existing temporary collections: Gardens, Birding & Backyard Nature and Coastal Lifestyles. Outdoor Living and the coordinating curated Outdoor Living LUXE collection will feature more than 50 temporary exhibitors showcasing products for enjoying the outdoors including gifts, home décor items, garden tools, garden accessories, outdoor lighting and casual furniture. Highlights include returning exhibitors: Galton Wholesale, Moksha Imports, Spinfinity Designs, Tile Craft, Inc. and Trans-Ocean Import Co.; plus new exhibitors such as Flags Galore Décor and More and SLM Gifts.

“The creation of the comprehensive Outdoor Living collection allows us to better showcase merchandise for celebrating, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors,” said JoAnn Miller Marshall, IMC executive vice president, president of Tradeshow Leasing. “The result will be an inspirational and comprehensive presentation of this trending product category.”

The Outdoor Living and Outdoor Living LUXE temporary exhibits, which are located in Building 2, Floor 4 in January and July, augment the more than 80 casual furniture, gift and garden-related accessories exhibitors in The Gardens permanent showrooms.

The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market presents the nation’s largest gift product mix complemented by a broad selection of home accents, décor, tabletop, gourmet, area rug and fashion apparel merchandise to retailers, designers and major buying groups from every U.S. state and more than 60 countries. The summer staging of The Atlanta International Gift and Home Furnishings Market is July 9 - 15, 2019 (temporaries July 10-14, 2019) at AmericasMart.
