Parsons Exits Gloster
Monday, November 26, 2018
Eric Parsons is no longer the president of Gloster Furniture and will move forward to pursue other opportunities.
“I’m incredibly proud of our many accomplishments at Gloster over the past 13 years, and for our team’s ability to effectively position the brand as a quality-first, design innovator in the premium retail, A&D, and contract market spaces,” Parsons said. “Looking forward, my intention is to align myself with a brand that has a genuine, compelling story to share, one that values the quality of its relationships as much as the quality of its products.”
Previous to his role as president of Gloster, Parsons served in senior management roles at Brown Jordan and Woodard Furniture. He earned a BA in math education from Purdue University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Parsons is a well-known outdoor industry executive. During the past 24 years, he has held many leadership positions, including his current roles on the board of directors for both the American Home Furnishings Alliance (2015-present) and the International Casual Furnishings Association (2009-present), having served as the chairman of the ICFA in 2012.
