Todd Wingrove has been named vice president, Sales Specialty Division for Agio, USA. He is responsible for increasing sales with Patio Specialty and indoor customers, as well as the newly-launched Domestic Warehousing Program.

“I’m excited to join the Agio team, the industry leader that I’ve been a fan of for years,” said Wingrove. “I’m looking forward to the challenge of maintaining our strong relationship with Specialty retailers, and continuing our growth among traditional furniture retailers and other emerging retail categories.”

In announcing the hiring, Mike Gaylord, Agio, USA vice president of Sales, said, “Throughout the search process for a new executive, one name kept rising to the top. Todd was my number-one choice and came highly recommended. I’m thrilled to have him as a part of the team.”

Bob Gaylord, president of Agio, USA, said, “Todd’s impressive background in sales for both indoor and outdoor categories makes him such a good fit for our company. That experience, especially as we grow our Domestic Warehouse business, will be crucial for our brand as we move forward in today’s evolving sales environment.”

Wingrove is a 30-year veteran of the furniture business that includes experience with a wide variety of positions in product sales, sales management, and manufacturers’ representation for significant brands across the United States. Most recently, Wingrove was VP Sales for Homecrest Outdoor Living, where he was responsible for all facets of residential and commercial sales.

Prior to that, he established the initial salesforce team for a newly created Specialty Division for SunVilla. His career in furniture sales management includes positions with major industry brand names dating back to the mid-1980s with Samsonite Furniture Company, and includes such firms as Homecrest Outdoor, Meadowcraft, Hekman and DMI.

A 1984 graduate of Beloit College, Wingrove received a BA degree in Government with concentration on Economics and Management. He is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie program, and studied Marketing Strategy and Planning at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
