Promotions at Dalsin Industries

Dalsin Industries, owner of Memphis Wood Fire Grills, is pleased to announce the promotion of Bob Borgerding to VP of Production Operations. Bob will be responsible for all production operations (manufacturing) in the company’s Bloomington, Minnesota, and Phoenix, Arizona, facilities.

Bob has been with Dalsin Industries for over 20 years, and spent the past six years building the company’s Memphis Wood Fire Grill business as general manager.

Gary Fruth, CEO of Dalsin Industries says, “Bob has been instrumental in the development of both the Memphis product and the manufacturing business. With the opening of Dalsin’s new facility in Arizona, as well as the tremendous growth we are experiencing, we need Bob’s operational expertise to lead our manufacturing team.”

Says Borgerding, “I am looking forward to my new role as I support Dalsin’s ongoing growth and expansion initiatives; one of these is the continued growth of Memphis.”

Sharla Wagy.

Sharla Wagy has joined the Memphis team as general manager. She comes to Memphis with over 20 years in the hearth and building products industries, and was previously VP of Marketing for Hearth & Home Technologies, where she managed the marketing and product management teams for Heat & Glo and Heatilator.

For the past several years, Sharla has been in leadership positions with Internet-based organizations and brings fresh insight into the evolving consumer marketplace. She says, “I am excited to be part of the Memphis team. The growing interest in healthy eating and the phenomenal flavor of wood-fire cooking provides a great opportunity for us to tell our story.”

Sharla also spent several years as a member of the HPBA Board of Directors and was elected Chairman of the Board in 2003.
