Danver Stainless Outdoor Kitchens
Joins with Walpole Outdoors

Danver Stainless Outdoor Kitchens, the nation’s premier stainless outdoor kitchen manufacturer, and Walpole Outdoors, a leading manufacturer and distributor of distinctive architectural landscape products and structures, announced they are leveraging their unique capabilities to create outdoor kitchen coverings designed to promote backyard living year-round. According to Garden Media Group’s 2015 Garden Trends Report, consumers are expanding their outdoor spaces for perennial use, thus the need for high-quality outdoor kitchen coverings is imperative.

Walpole Outdoors’ new pavilions – set to be introduced at the 2015 International Builders’ Show/Kitchen and Bath Industry Show, Jan. 20-22, 2015 – and shade pergolas will provide full coverage for Danver’s stainless-steel outdoor kitchens.

These specialized environments will be constructed from Walpole Outdoors’ signature material, cellular PVC, which is low-maintenance and has the same look and feel as real wood, but will not rot, warp or split. Walpole Outdoors’ pergola and pavilions feature robust, classically proportioned beams, joists and laths. The combination of the aesthetics and functionality ensures longevity and beauty.

Walpole Outdoors’ pergolas, and soon-to-be-launched pavilions, are available in more than 100 PVC-safe paint colors from Sherwin-Williams to perfectly complement Danver’s selection of powder-coat finishes for its stainless-steel cabinets.

“Walpole Outdoors’ shade pergolas and pavilions add style and elegance to bring any home exterior to new levels of year-round enjoyment,” says Lou Maglio, president of Walpole Outdoors. “Homeowners will also have peace of mind for years to come because our shade pergolas and pavilions provide outdoor living spaces with shade and protection from inclement weather. This is becoming more important to consumers as the trend is to accessorize their outdoor spaces with fully functioning kitchens, lighting, fans, and electronics from music to TVs.”

Danver’s outdoor cabinets are manufactured from high-quality, durable stainless steel, and are available with custom door styles in exclusive designer colors, creating a fully functional, signature outdoor kitchen. The powder-coat colors and realistic wood grain-style finishes allow builders, remodelers, architects, landscape architects and design professionals the freedom to create unique backyard havens.

“Outdoor cooking areas have transitioned from mere barbecue islands to more formal outdoor entertaining and living areas,” says Mitch Slater, president and founder of Danver Stainless Outdoor Kitchens. “Danver’s distribution relationship with Walpole Outdoors offers customers a comprehensive package, fulfilling their need to create spaces with the same design characteristics as the indoors.”

Terri Lee Rogers Wins
Spirit of the Entrepreneur Award

OW Lee, a manufacturer of high-end outdoor furniture, fire pits and accessories located in Ontario, California, announced today its president, Terri Lee Rogers, has won the 2014 Spirit of the Entrepreneur Award in the manufacturing category.

Terri Lee Rogers

The Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards program was founded in 2003 to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the Inland Empire's top entrepreneurial business leaders. Since that time, the award has honored more than 250 entrepreneurs as finalists and bestowed the coveted Spirit Award to 100 entrepreneurs.

Members of the community joined the finalists and their family and friends for an award gala held at the newly renovated Riverside convention center. The 760 guests enjoyed food and entertainment before the awards were announced. During her acceptance speech, Terri thanked her family and employees, and dedicated the award to her parents and grandparents, the founders of OW Lee.

“I am just so honored to be recognized with this award. It means so much, especially to have won in the manufacturing category, because we take so much pride in our processes and facility. She joins many other esteemed winners from companies such as Chino Valley Ranchers, Boudreau Pipeline Corporation and Universal Surveillance Systems.

OW Lee was founded in 1947 in Pasadena, California. They are the premier manufacturer of fine wrought-iron and wrought-aluminum outdoor furniture and fire pits. OW Lee manufactures heirloom quality products in Ontario, California, and they are one of the few remaining companies in the outdoor furniture industry that still manufacture in the U.S.

Tropitone Introduces Raduno

Tropitone Furniture Company announces the introduction of Raduno, a line of High Pressure Laminate (HPL) table tops, to the casual furniture industry. Like its Italian name suggests, Raduno HPL table tops are perfect for meeting friends or peers at the café, restaurant or hotel. Raduno offers a new level of elegance and practicality to Tropitone tables.

Following the recent launch of Belo, Tropitone’s line of HPL fire pit tops, Raduno offers HPL tops for dining, bar and tea tables. Inspired by Tropitone patterned aluminum table tops and bases, Raduno offers HPL tops that fit into Tropitone’s prevailing 44 aluminum base options.

Customers can upgrade existing glass, acrylic or patterned aluminum tables by inserting a new Raduno top. No tools are required to make the switch - simply remove the old or damaged top and install Raduno. To order Raduno as a replacement part, please contact your sales representative or local dealer.

Each side of the top has an individual finish, a unique attribute of Raduno. “Color families are created by pairing the light neutrals, the brown hues, and the grey/black shades together,” says Peter Homestead, vice president of Design. The pairings are: Natural Cotton with White De Pesco, Sunstone with Milano Mahogany, and Pewter Brush with Ebony Star. The paired coordinating finishes produce transitional styles ranging from the look of natural pearls, to warm stones, to bold metals. Bases are available in coordinating finishes.

Tropitone is confident in Raduno’s performance due to the reputation of HPL as a material. HPL is renown for durability, longevity and simple care requirements. The combination of high pressure and heat fuses the protective UV layer, decorative pattern, and solid phenolic resin core material into a strong, undividable sheet.

With a solid surface, Raduno table tops eliminate seams, grout lines and other gaps that capture food residue or dirt. Simply wipe Raduno table tops with mild soap and warm water as needed to clean. In addition, Raduno is manufactured in North America, providing a high-quality product with dependable shipment.
