Merritt Designs Unveils Designer Melamine
at Casual Market Chicago

Synopsis: Casual tableware designer and manufacturer Merritt Designs is set to unveil items from its 2018 collections during Casual Market Chicago. The collections from Merritt are the product of US designers including Erica Friedman Studio, Lisa Thomas and Tre Sorelle Home design. Multiple designs will be introduced in Merritt’s booth is on the 7th floor of the Merchandise Mart in Chicago # 7-7082 from September 12 – 15, 2017.

Merritt Designs, a leader in the casual tableware industry, will be unveiling its designer melamine to the outdoor and casual industry during the September Casual Market Chicago from the September 12 to 15. Headlining the 2018 collections are creations by U.S. artists including Erica Friedman Studio, Lisa Thomas and Tre Sorelle Home Design. Each design in the introductory collections incorporates color as well as texture in high-end melamine dinnerware and serving pieces.

“Each season, we are excited to add new designs from our family of talented artists,” said Kimberly Plummer, Sales and Marketing manager for Merritt. “For 2018 we are adding a diverse selection of designs from coastal and sea life to our popular wood-look designs. Each has received an ongoing positive response during the recent market season.”

“We are finding that gift and décor retailers are realizing greater interest in outdoor entertaining, and with this variety of designs, opportunities for sales are enhanced,” said Plummer. “We are looking forward to this market as it will be especially focused on the outdoor applications of our products.”

Merritt Designs will display all new introductions during the Casual Market Chicago in their booth # 7-7082 on the 7th floor of the Merchandise Mart.
