Woodard Names Top Sales Award Winners

Woodard, known for its quality craftsmanship in iron, aluminum, and all season wicker outdoor furniture and accessories, saluted its Salesman of the Year and Woodard Winner recipients at the company’s recent Sales Achievement Dinner. The celebration was held in Chicago.

Hugh Moffitt, whose sales territory includes North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, was named the Woodard Winner, an award given to recognize outstanding sales volume and achievement of sales goals. Moffitt and his team have been instrumental in significantly increasing the company’s business during 2015-2016 in this important territory. Based in Greensboro, he has represented Woodard for 33 years.

The 2016 Salesman of the Year Award was presented to Carrie and Jim Greenberg and Carrie’s son, Andrew Sharp. The family rep group, which has been with Woodard for five years, represents Woodard to retailers, specialty stores, and designers across much of Florida. Their exceptional sales growth coupled with outstanding dealer support and service were highlighted as notable achievements. This is the first year they have taken home the top sales award.

“As we move toward our second century of existence, our sales reps are vital to maintaining and expanding our customer base,” says Belinda Lavender, Woodard’s vice president of Sales and Marketing. “We congratulate Carrie, Jim, Andrew and Hugh, and applaud their efforts to share our company’s beautiful and durable outdoor products with our customers throughout their territories and across the globe.”

Woodard’s furniture is available in more than 30 finishes and 200 fabrics to fit any style or setting. The company also offers a wide variety of fire tables, umbrellas, outdoor pillows, rugs and other accessory pieces that are sure to enhance any outdoor living space.

In 2016, the company is observing its 150th anniversary.
